International Business Development Manager Aviation

In 1956 Belgraver aircraft interiors took its maiden step in aviation. Nowadays, Belgraver aircraft  interiors runs modern facilities in Naarden – The Netherlands and Dubai – United Arab Emirates employing over 100 specialists manufacturing aircraft  interior products. 

Our product range covers non-structural parts manufactured from plastic, foam, leather and textile for aircraft  interiors. These are currently supplied to more than 110 airlines and MRO’s in mainly EMEA.

Your mission

Belgraver aircraft interiors is now further upgrading it’s organisation, services and products to be ready for the future. To support this journey we are looking for a driven International Business Development Manager to strengthen our Sales Department.

As an International Business Development Manager you will be part of a team of experienced well respected sales professionals with combined aviation track record of more than 35 years. Your main role in the team is to create and maintain long-term relationships with prospects and customers and connect with key business executives & stakeholders. You will oversee an assigned portfolio, develop new business and actively seek new sales opportunities. You will answer queries and liaise with internal departments including Finance, Sales Support, Production and Project Management. In your role as International Business Development Manager you will visit your customers and prospects regularly on site (international travel in EMEA might be up to 30-40% of your time).

You will keep track of the timely and successful delivery of our products and services meeting customer’s needs and objectives. 

Ultimately, a successful International Business Development Manager should be able to recognize market trends, identify opportunities with (future) customers and be able to achieve the organizational targets. As Business Development Manager you will report to the Sales Director.

Your Luggage

To be successful in this role, you have a passion for sales. You live in The Netherlands (or willing to relocate to the Netherlands) and are able to communicate in business and technical English (verbal and in writing)!

Furthermore, you have a bachelor working and thinking level, ideally, you will have a bachelor’s degree in the field of Business administration or Technology. You preferably have a minimum of 3 years working experience in a related position within the Aviation domain. 

You have hunter skills and are able to build lasting relationships with our (future) customers. Experience in aviation would be a big advantage.
